Defects, wrong deliveries and transport damage

Our claims handling is based on applicable consumer protection legislation. If you believe we have interpreted or applied the law incorrectly, please contact us in connection with your case.

Inspection upon Delivery

The customer is responsible for unpacking and carefully inspecting the goods immediately upon receipt.

Any damage, defect or discrepancy must be reported no later than 7 days from the date of delivery.

Important: Always keep all original packaging in case of suspected transport damage.

Defective Product

  • Take clear photos of the defect.
  • Photograph the packaging.
  • Do not discard packaging if transport damage is suspected.
  • Email us with a detailed description.

Minor defects (e.g. missing part) are normally resolved by sending replacement parts. Depending on the nature of the defect, repair, replacement, partial refund or full refund may apply.

Wrong Delivery

  • Photograph the product received.
  • Photograph the shipping label.
  • Email us describing the discrepancy.

We will arrange correction and cover return shipping costs if the error is ours.

Transport Damage – 7 Day Rule

Transport damage (visible or hidden) must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

Why 7 Days?

Transport companies only accept damage claims within a limited timeframe. After 7 days, we are generally unable to file a claim against the carrier.

Late Claims

Claims submitted weeks or a month after delivery cannot be treated as transport damage. It is no longer possible to determine whether the damage occurred during transport or afterwards.

Damage reported later than 7 days cannot be compensated as transport damage.

Packaging Requirement

All original packaging must be retained. If packaging has been discarded, the carrier may refuse compensation.
