Recess Mounting
With this type of installation, you should consider whether you want to place any items in front of the window. Flowers, decorative objects, or other items you wish to display will be in the way when the roller blind is lowered. If the space is too tight, this type of mounting may be impractical.

        Face Mounting
With this type of installation, the roller blind covers the entire window and should preferably be a few centimeters (or about a decimeter) wider than the window recess. The advantage is that your flowers and decorative items on the windowsill will remain safe. The downside can be slightly more light coming in from the sides if the blind does not overlap the window area sufficiently.

Direct Mounting on the Window Frame
If your window opens inward, there must be enough space to ensure that the roller blind does not get pinched against the side wall of the window recess.
