Please make sure to unpack and inspect your goods immediately upon delivery. This should be done regardless of whether the packaging appears damaged or not.

Always keep the original packaging until the matter is resolved. The packaging may need to be presented or documented during an investigation of any transport damage. Do not dispose of the packaging if you intend to file a damage claim.

Sometimes "hidden damages" may occur during transport that are not visible from the outside of the package. Notify us immediately and no later than within 7 days if you discover any damage caused during transportation. According to current transport terms, all damages must be reported to the carrier as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after delivery. If this is not done, the burden of proof that the damage occurred during transport falls on the claimant.

This means in practice that no compensation can be claimed for damages if they are not reported within 7 days from the date of delivery. Therefore, please inspect your goods immediately after receiving them.

If the package remains uninspected for an extended period after delivery, it becomes increasingly difficult to prove that the damage occurred during transport. It is not uncommon for damage to occur after delivery at the recipient’s location.
